Private Taxi (Metered , non metered)
Private Phuket airport taxi will take you directly from the airport to your resort. It is comparatively much quicker than public buses and minivans. The quickest way to reach your resort. The drivers have luxury to take short cuts and they are not bound to take designated route. They can dodge roadworks, accidents, etc easily. Obviously for the private taxi you will have to pay more than what you pay for a public bus. However, most taxis are now on a meter which is easily visible to people sitting in the taxi. There are many private taxi operators available in Phuket. You will have contact them if you want to ride on non-metered taxi. They will come to pick you up at the airport. For metered taxi, there will be a taxi stand just outside the airport terminal. They will drop you at your desired location.
